Jennie Halliday

Art Therapist

Jennie Halliday, AThR, is a clinical arts therapist, a professional member of ANZACATA (The Australian, New Zealand and Asian Creative Arts Therapies Association) and holds a Master of Arts in Arts Therapy (Clinical) from Whitecliffe College of Arts and Design. Jennie has a focus on complex trauma and abuse recovery with adolescents and adults. She has also been part of a clinical palliative care team in a hospice setting for the past 6 years providing arts therapy for patients and family members. Helping people understand the power of the creative process when words are difficult to find is a passion of Jennie's and she has contributed to two books on the clinical practice of arts therapy.  

Jennie enjoys working with all cultures and is committed to acknowledging Te Ao Māori when working with tangata whenua.
